  My family and I have bought Tonitttos cakes for years but I was really disappointed with the whole experience today.
  I specifically rang and asked for the chopped hazelnuts NOT to be used as we had a guest who is extremely allergic to nuts. I was assured that this was not a problem and that they would use coconut curls instead. COVERED IN HAZELNUTS. I then also paid extra to have a message iced on the cake. Looks like a 4year old's work

  I agree with other reviews of late that there has been a huge shift in quality of the Tonitto brand. There may be either a change in management or possibly pastry chef, as today I bought a curry pie that was completely tasteless. It was no different to a plain meat pie whereas previously I loved the real spicy kick of the curry and how tasty it was. I also purchased a spinach and ricotta roll which lacked taste and was extremely gluggy. That went straight in the bin as it was inedible. It's very disappointing because Tonitto's had the best pies, pastries and cakes and my family and friends would always comment on how fresh and delicious they were. ☹️

  Have ordered cakes from here for years and never had a problem for years and never had a problem. Unfortunately today was just not the day paid for a red velvet cake for a birthday and unfortunately got a cake that was absolutely dry and tasteless that no one could even finish , ordered this cake for Christmas and it was delicious don’t know what’s happened but unfortunately it’s just not good enough. How can the same cake a few months apart be so different and so not the same.
  
  Such a disappointing outcome as I said have ordered so many cakes from here before. Felt like the order was rushed and with not much care.
  
  I do think them for bringing me the cake as I had an appointment. Great customer service , not great cake this time around .

  I bought a sponge cake today and the lovely salesperson asked me if I wanted anything written on the cake . After the writing was finished she offered to help me carry the cake box as I am very unsteady on my feet . Even though it was pouring rain she carried the cake to my car across the road and placed it on the floor so it wouldn’t get damaged. What a lovely young woman. Thank you so much.

  Beautiful food and great customer service.
  
  Had a function cancelled a year ago (due to lockdown) and was able to use store credit carried forward no problems.
  
  Highly recommended, no wonder they have been so successful for so long.
